This Cookie Policy applies to the www.mcare.lu website and to the applications accessible from Europe. Nobesick, whose users in Africa are not subject to the European ePrivacy Directive, uses strictly necessary cookies only.

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website or use an application. Medcare also uses similar technologies: pixels, web beacons and session identifiers in mobile applications.

Users in the USA (Nobesick): CCPA (California) — right to opt out of the collection of personal data via cookies;
Users in Africa (Nobesick): strictly necessary cookies only, no mandatory consent banner.

Session and authentication cookie: maintains a secure connection;
CSRF protection: secures forms;
Preferences cookie (medcare_cookie_consent): remembers your consent choices.

Duration: session or until logout for the session and authentication cookies; 6 months for the cookie storing your consent choices.

3.2 Analytics cookies (consent required — European users)

Audience measurement, behaviour analysis, service improvement. Aggregated and anonymised data. Duration: 13 months maximum.

3.3 Functional cookies (consent required)

Storage of your preferences: language, display, notifications. Duration: 12 months.

3.4 Third-party cookies — Stripe / PayPal (Prep-EVC)

Necessary for secure payment processing. Subject to the Stripe and PayPal policies.
