Contents

This disclaimer applies to all Medcare Sarl-S medical applications and content: Nobesick (Africa, Europe, USA), MedReport (French-speaking Africa + Luxembourg as a priority + Europe), Medi Scan (French-speaking Africa + Luxembourg as a priority + Europe), Mercy Tensio (French-speaking Africa + Luxembourg as a priority + Europe) and Prep-EVC (Africa + Europe).

1. No medical advice

The Medcare applications are provided for informational, organisational or educational purposes. They in no way constitute:

  • A medical diagnosis;
  • A medical or pharmaceutical prescription;
  • Personalised medical advice;
  • A therapeutic recommendation;
  • A substitute for a consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.

The Medcare applications are not medical devices within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2017/745, of FDA regulations (USA) or of the applicable African national regulations, unless expressly stated otherwise.

2. Nobesick — Specific warnings

2.1 Appointment booking

Nobesick is a medical appointment booking tool for Cameroon. It provides no medical advice, no diagnosis and offers no teleconsultation. Care takes place physically in Cameroon, with independent healthcare professionals with whom Medcare has no relationship of subordination.

Medcare is not responsible for the quality of the care provided by the professionals listed on Nobesick. Each professional practises under their own responsibility and in accordance with the regulations in force in Cameroon.

2.2 Health insurance introduction

The Nobesick health insurance feature is exclusively an introduction service between users and partner insurers in Cameroon. Medcare is neither an insurer nor a licensed insurance broker. Medcare does not guarantee the cover offered by partner insurers, their pricing terms, their reimbursement times or their practices. Users are invited to read each insurer's terms and conditions carefully before subscribing.

3. Responsibility of healthcare professionals

3.1 MedReport, Medi Scan, Mercy Tensio

These applications are administrative and documentation support tools intended for qualified healthcare professionals in French-speaking Africa and Luxembourg as a priority, then across French-speaking Europe. Any medical decision — diagnosis, treatment, prescription — remains the sole responsibility of the healthcare professional authorised to practise in their country, in accordance with the applicable local regulations.

3.2 AI-generated reports — MedReport

Medical reports generated by MedReport's artificial intelligence are a documentation drafting aid only. They must systematically be re-read, checked and validated by the responsible healthcare professional before any clinical or administrative use, whether they practise in Africa or in Europe.

4. Prep-EVC — Educational disclaimer

Prep-EVC helps doctors qualified outside the EU prepare for the Knowledge Verification Examination (EVC) for integration into the French medical system. The content provided is designed for educational purposes and is no substitute for official training, for the recommendations of the French medical authorities (HAS, CNOM) or for supervision by qualified tutors. Success in the EVC depends on many factors independent of the platform's content. Medcare does not guarantee success in this examination.
